Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola wins court case and judge awards him $1.8 million in damages

Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola confirmed on his social media that he has just won a court case for defamation against Clara Cabrera.

"I just won the case against Clara Cabrera. The court ordered her to pay me 1.8M for damages caused. Case closed!" said Alexander Otaola.


The case was opened in July 2020 and includes other people and sought compensation for defamation and the conspiracy to report the program and thus take down the broadcast on social media.

The lawsuit also accused Clara Cabrera of inciting the Cuban presenter to physically attack him.

Otaola has several cases in the Miami court and among the most famous are the Descemer Bueno case and the Miami police case for his unjustified arrest during a demonstration on Calle Ocho.
