Dashboard videos show the arrest of a man accused of filming a mother and daughter at a Miami store.

The arrest of an individual was captured on the body camera of the officers who carried out the police action, alleging that the man filmed a mother and her daughter in a dressing room at Forever 21 in Miami Beach last year. Luca Dimichele, 31, is being charged with voyeurism due to an incident that took place on December 14, 2024, at the establishment located at 701 Lincoln Road.

According to a police report, a mother was in a store's changing room with her 10-year-old daughter when they noticed a cell phone on the floor of their booth, with the camera focused on them as they tried on different items of clothing. The mother later noticed the camera adjusting its position to film them without her permission, according to the report.

When the woman picked up the cell phone, she realized it was recording her movements, which caused her to confront the suspect and then give the phone to a store manager to keep until the police arrived.

In the body camera footage, Dimichele is seen being led out of the store by an officer. He was then placed next to a police vehicle, and the officer proceeded to search Dimichele's pockets.

The individual remained in jail until his release on bail set by a Miami court. Recording someone without their permission in the U.S. can have various legal and civil consequences, depending on the specific laws of the state in question.

This type of conduct, which does not always have the consent of all parties, can result in severe fines and, in many cases, prison sentences, depending on the magnitude of the case and the impact on the victim.
