Target's new store in downtown Miami has opened its doors to the public after an investment process that lasted several years. The store is located in the Sawyer's Walk mixed-use retail and real estate complex located at 249 NW Sixth Street.
The new space spans a total of 50 square feet in the Overtown complex and offers free parking for customers who drive up to the location, according to reviewers on Google Maps. Plus, those in a bit of a hurry will have the opportunity to pick up their orders via a drive-thru, also free of charge, which is also a plus.
However, there are few who do not plan to walk through the place that has more than just stores to offer. There are companies that are still in the process of building their spaces and others that have already completed construction activities and are providing service to the public a few meters from the Target store.
Five Below, Walk includes Burlington, Aldi and Ross Dress for Less are other businesses opening soon, and Tri-Rail, Metromover and Metrotrail services are located close to the complex.
The property also features 130,000 square feet of office space, which SG Holdings leased to MSG Group for MSG Cruises' new North American headquarters. The world's third-largest cruise line is building a new $350 million terminal at PortMiami. 578 units have been designated to support seniors, allowing those who have been displaced in recent years to return.
SG Holdings is a partnership between Swerdlow Group, SJM Partners and Alben Duffie who have joined forces to develop this multi-million dollar project in downtown Miami that will provide more than a thousand jobs and contribute to the urban development of the City of the Sun.
