On Thursday night, Tropical Depression 4 strengthened into Tropical Storm Cindy in the central Atlantic. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Bret is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain to parts of the Lesser Antilles on Thursday night.
At 11 p.m. Thursday, the storm's position was about 1,785 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Traveling at 14 mph in a west-northwesterly direction, it maintained winds of up to 40 mph.
According to the National Hurricane Center, the system is likely to remain northeast of the northern Leeward Islands through early next week.
Thursday night saw the Tropical Storm Bret located about 5 miles east of St. Vincent.
Florida doesn't have to worry about Bret just like it didn't have to worry about Tropical Storm Cindy.
