The Mega Millions drawing held on Tuesday night was missing a winning ticket, leaving the estimated jackpot at $910 million in the United States.
According to a statement from the organizers of Mega Millions, the $910 million prize is the fifth largest in the history of the game of chance.
And while there was no jackpot winner, in the July 25 drawing, there were a total of 2,519,403 winning tickets across all prize levels.
In Mega Millions, players must select six numbers from two groups: five numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 25 (the golden Mega Ball). To win the jackpot, they must match all six winning numbers in the drawing that takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
Mega Millions tickets can be purchased at most gas stations and grocery stores in 45 U.S. states for $2. The locations where the lottery is not played include Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah.
