Controversial content creator Flor de Cuba claims she has filed a lawsuit against Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola.

The controversial Cuban content creator known on social media as "La Flor de Cuba" claims she has filed a defamation lawsuit against Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola.

"I have filed a defamation lawsuit against Alex Otaola. 📢 I believe in justice and the right to defend my name and my dignity. I am conducting this process with my attorney Karel Suárez, head of the law firm @thelegalteampllc, who is committed to upholding my rights. The truth always comes to light, and this step is a message to all those who have been the target of lies and baseless attacks. Thank you to those who have supported me along the way," said the Flower of Cuba about the lawsuit.

According to Flor de Cuba, who has been widely criticized for her comments regarding Cuba and for appearing in a photo with Sandro Castro, she is the victim of a smear campaign against her.

Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola announced on his El Mañanero show that he would address the issue, but that so far he has not received any complaints.

To date, no lawsuit has been filed against Alexander Otaola by Flor de Cuba in Miami-Dade County court.
