Conceptual plans for Citadel's massive tower in Miami's iconic Brickell neighborhood have recently emerged, which will significantly change the city's skyline, making it even more splendorous.

The project, which includes several phases, was revealed on Monday morning during a presentation to county planners.

The new building is expected to rise 1,032 feet above sea level at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive and will have 54 stories.

The impressive development will encompass 1,293,373 square feet of office space, 212 luxury hotel rooms, a world-class health spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a grand ballroom and dedicated conference and event venues, making it a perfect destination for business and social gatherings. It will also house around 50 underground executive parking spaces, with street parking also available.

The tower was designed by Foster + Partners, with AAI Architects serving as architect of record, and Field Operations serving as landscape architect. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is responsible for civil and traffic engineering.

This building in 1201 is just the first phase of future development.

The other phases at 1221 Brickell Avenue and 1250-1260 Brickell Bay Drive are expected to include office space, retail and personal service establishments, food and beverage offerings, residential units and a parking area, according to a representative of the developer.

The Citadel company is the owner of the property and the materialization of this colossal project will undoubtedly lead to an increase in its presence in the City of the Sun and consolidate Brickell as a prosperous business and innovation center.
