Alabama woman wins $10 million in scratch-off game after buying lucky ticket in Florida

According to Florida Lottery officials, a woman identified as Jessica Callihan, 47, won the top prize in the $20 GOLD RUSH LEGACY Scratch-Off game after purchasing the winning ticket at a Perdido Key gas station.

The lucky Foley resident went to claim the significant amount and opted to receive a one-time payment of $6,030,000.


Callihan purchased the lucky ticket at Cumberland Farms, located at 16786A Perdido Key Drive. The farm earned a $20,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.

This scratch-off game was launched in April and offers four top prizes of $10 million and 20 prizes of $1 million. It also provides more than $894 million in cash prizes globally.

The odds of winning the jackpots are 1 in 15,042,825, making it a real challenge for those who dream big. However, the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2,97.
