Florida Lottery announces $1 million winning ticket sold at Miami-Dade Publix

The Florida Lottery announced that a ticket won $1 million in Saturday night's drawing. The person who bought the ticket did so at a Publix store in South Miami-Dade County.

The ticket sold at the Publix at Promenade in Silver Palm, 23300 SW 112th Ave. near Homestead matched all six numbers; 1-14-36-38-42 and 43 and is worth $XNUMX million.

The amount might have been even higher if someone hadn't bought a ticket at a gas station in Broward County, specifically at First Coast Energy, located at 1400 North Federal Highway, in Pompano Beach, last Wednesday and won the jackpot of $11 million by matching the numbers 7-8-16-17-25 and 33.

As far as we know, no one has yet appeared at the Lottery offices to claim their prize. However, if no one does so within the 180 days required for the prize to be claimed, the amount will go to the Lottery's coffers.

To get your money, you'll need to show up with your winning ticket at Florida Lottery headquarters. Drawings for this lottery take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Tickets cost $2 and can be purchased until 10:55 p.m. ET on the night of the drawing.
