Cuban opposition leader José Daniel Ferrer released in Cuba

Cuban opposition leader José Daniel Ferrer has been released in Cuba after four years in prison for his political views.

With the release of Ferrer, 31 have now been released out of the 553 announced by the Cuban regime after the United States removed the island from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.


José Daniel Ferrer was subjected to years of physical and psychological torture for his determination to fight for Cuba's freedom.
