Former President Donald Trump announced this weekend that he will hold a rally in the city of Hialeah, on November 8, the same night that several of his rivals within the Republican Party have plans to hold their first debate ahead of the 2024 elections, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
Meanwhile, the former tenant of the White House intends to have a public toilet in Hialeah, a town in Miami, where approximately 173,549 people of Cuban origin live.
According to the Republican's announcement, the rally is scheduled to take place at Ted Hendricks Stadium at Henry Milander Park, located at 4800 Palm Avenue.
The stadium gates will open at 2:00 pm, and some of the speakers, whose names have not yet been revealed, are expected to arrive at around 5:00 pm.
At the same time, Trump will take the stand to give his speech at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 8.
According to the newspaper Sun sentinelTrump has repeatedly said he would not stoop to appear on the same platform as the party's other presidential candidates, all of whom are trailing him far behind in public opinion polls among primary voters.
Campaign advisers to the former president have said that “the Republican National Committee should immediately cancel the upcoming debate in Miami and end all future debates” in order to use its efforts to focus on the general election against President Joe Biden.
“Anything less, along with other reasons not to cancel, is an admission from the rank and file that their concerns about voter integrity are not being taken seriously and that national Republicans are more concerned with helping Joe Biden than ensuring a safe election,” Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, two of Trump’s top advisers, said in statements in early October.
