Two Cuban women in Miami arrested for assaulting the partner of one of their ex-boyfriends

In an incident that has drawn attention in Miami, two cousins, Rosa Carrasco Perez, 34, and Marla Perez Lores, 25, were arrested after attacking one of their ex-boyfriends and his new partner. The attack, which occurred last Friday, involved the use of a metal pipe as a weapon.

Miami-Dade authorities said the women are facing charges of aggravated assault. The relationship between Perez Lores and her ex-boyfriend had reportedly ended approximately four months ago. However, the situation turned violent on January 17, when both women attacked the young man's new girlfriend, as well as him.

The ex-boyfriend apparently suffered an injury to his hand during the confrontation. Such incidents underscore the growing concern about interpersonal violence in the community, an issue that has been the subject of discussion on various platforms.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the case and the suspects are expected to face trial in the coming days. The incident has sparked a debate on social media, with many expressing concern about violence and aggression in complicated romantic relationships.

Miami-Dade Police are urging the community to seek help if they find themselves in situations of violence, reminding them that there are resources available for victims.
