Miami-Dade County is preparing an incentive package to attract a New York technology company that will create 500 well-paying jobs.

Under Miami-Dade County's proposal, the company would invest up to $65 million over three years in the county, including the possibility of building a new 100,000-square-foot data center in the downtown area.


In exchange, he will receive $3 million from Florida’s qualified tax incentive program, of which 80% would be provided by the state and 20% by the county. The county’s $600,000 would be paid over a six-year period beginning in 2022.

According to a report by the Miami Herald The company is believed to be Jumptuit, a data analysis firm, although authorities have not officially confirmed which company it is.

If the company eventually comes to Miami-Dade County, it could generate an estimated average salary per employee of $77,744 per year.
