Brickell will have a new 90-story condominium tower and the demolition permit has already been submitted to begin this luxury development

The City of the Sun's gorgeous Brickell area is likely to see a new 90-story condominium tower. Just yesterday morning, a demolition permit was filed to move forward on this significant project.

So far, there is no contractor in charge of the work, only a permit issuer is listed as a contact.

It is also hoped that further authorisation will be obtained to proceed with the installation of a fence to delimit the area in question.

Last April, JDS Development Group completed the process of acquiring the property, successfully purchasing it for the impressive price of $61,2 million.

Dolce & Gabbana has teamed up with JDS to bring about the future of luxury development.

The building will be 1,049 feet tall and will be the most prominent in Miami.

The architectural work will be carried out by Studio Sofield and the tower will house 250 rooms and suites.
