A winning Mega Millions ticket worth one million dollars, was sold yesterday, Friday, January 17, at a Publix market in Florida, reported Local 10 News.
The ticket, sold at a Publix in Lehigh Acres, a city in Lee County, matched all five regular numbers in Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, the Florida Lottery said.
The lucky numbers were 8, 10, 37, 54 and 69, and a Mega Ball of 22.
They also announced that the winning ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Arizona, with the lucky winner taking home $113 million.
It should be noted that Mega Millions is an extremely difficult lottery game to win due to the structure of the draw and the odds involved. However, the odds of winning are one in 302.6 million.
However, the multi-million dollar prizes of this Lottery game attract many people. And although there are no numbers that guarantee a win, the recommendation is to choose numbers that other players are unlikely to select, such as those outside of important dates or obvious sequences.
Likewise, another suggestion is to always check the winning numbers, because even if you think you didn't win, there are secondary prizes that you could have won.
