A Delta Air Lines flight headed to Florida was forced to re-route over the weekend due to an odor, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

An FAA spokesperson told FOX 35 News that an Airbus A321 headed to Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Florida had to change course after the crew reported detecting smoke.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., the plane landed without incident at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina.

According to FlightAware.com, which monitors flights in real time, the plane has successfully flown from JFK to MCO.
