The images shared on X by the user identified as Ryan RC Rea show the evolution of the construction process of the Waldford Asforia Residences tower in Miami, which is expected to have a height of 319 meters.

The columns on the second floor were apparently erected earlier this month.

Last June, the foundation work on the building was completed and the staff in charge of the high-profile development secured an unprecedented $668 million loan to begin erecting the structure that same month.

The tower is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2028 and is expected to be one of the tallest in the state of Florida.

The building will house 387 condominiums, as well as 205 rooms and suites within a five-star hotel. There will be 1,321 square feet of commercial use, space for 356 bicycles and parking for nearly 700 vehicles. It will also have swimming pools, a restaurant called Peacock Alley, bars, meeting rooms and a ballroom. As of June, 90 percent of the private residences had been sold.

The tower's developers are PMG, Greybrook, Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development and Hilton. The design was by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott in collaboration with PMG and Sieger-Suรกrez architects and consists of nine large spiral-shaped glass cubes.

Javier F. Aviรฑo, a lawyer for one of the developers, commented: โ€œThe striking design will undoubtedly become one of the iconic images of the Miami skyline. The structure consists of nine differently positioned cubes. The top cube moves from the central axis of the tower towards the southeast, creating a dynamic visual tension.โ€
