This Tuesday, in the Mega Millions drawing, a player won a prize of one million dollars after purchasing a lucky ticket through the quick pick route at a Publix establishment located at 30841 Mirada Boulevard, in San Antonio.
The numbers drawn last night were 13, 19, 43, 62, 64 and the Mega Ball 6. No one managed to match all six, so the game's top jackpot rose to an impressive $393 million.
The truth is that the odds of winning the jackpot are reduced to 1 in 302.6 million, however, this is one of the most popular and followed lotteries in the northern nation and is available in 45 states, as well as in the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands, excluding Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah. Tickets can be purchased at gas stations and markets and cost $2.
People who wish to participate in the Mega Millions drawings can do so on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 p.m. ET.
Mega Millions was launched on August 31, 1986, but was then known as The Big Game. The first drawing was held on September 6, 1996, and six states participated: Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia.
The game consists of selecting five numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 25 known as the Mega Ball.
