The winning ticket for the $1,550 billion Powerball jackpot did not come out on Monday, but a South Florida man won $2 million with his ticket for the same game purchased at a Publix.
The $2 million winner bought his ticket at a Publix supermarket in Cooper City, where he matched all the numbers except the Powerball and which is located at 9359 Sheridan St., near Pine Island Road.
The $1 million prize is doubled to $2 million because the winner chose the Power Play multiplier option.
Monday's winning numbers were 16, 34, 46, 55 and 67, with a Powerball of 14.
On Wednesday, the person who matches their ticket correctly will take home the grand prize of a sensational $1.725 billion.
