Lottery officials made an exciting announcement Friday regarding a Florida resident who won the jackpot in a scratch-off game.
Maher Nameh, a 39-year-old Palm Coast resident, emerged victorious this week by successfully claiming his $1 million grand prize. His win came after participating in the exciting and lucrative scratch-off game known as The $1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR.
Lottery officials have confirmed that Nameh opted for a one-time payment of $640,000 as his prize.
In Ormond Beach, at a store called J Discount, he purchased a scratch-off ticket.
The sale of the winning ticket will bring the store a $2,000 commission bonus.
