Lucky man bought a winning ticket worth more than $50.000 at a gas station in Miami, On Sunday afternoon, he picked up Local 10 News.
According to the Florida Lottery, the winning Fantasy 5 ticket valued at exactly $52,259.95 was purchased at the Sunshine gas station, located at 14699 SW 56th Street in South Florida.
Meanwhile, another winning ticket with the same jackpot was sold at a Circle K gas station in Venice, Florida, a city in Sarasota County.
The deadline to claim the prize is midnight on November 27, 2024, the Lottery said.
The drawing took place on Sunday evening, May 26, and the winning Fantasy 5 numbers were: 8-9-16-26-35.
An official statement details that "while any Florida Lottery retailer can validate the winning ticket, the FANTASY 5 jackpot must be claimed at a Lottery district office."
"Players can obtain additional information by calling the Lottery's Customer Service Department at (850) 487-7787 or visiting the Florida Lottery website. Players can also download the Lottery's mobile app to scan a ticket's barcode and see if it is a winner," they added.
According to the release, “Fantasy 5 is a game in which players win the jackpot by matching 5 of 5 winning numbers drawn in any order.”
Additionally, “players win cash prizes or a free Quick Pick ticket by matching two, three or four of the numbers drawn in the official drawing on the date the game is played. If there is no jackpot winner, the jackpot money rolls over and is shared among players who match 4 of 5 or 3 of 5 winning numbers.”
