Updated list of Cuban regime entities with which the US prohibits financial transactions

Published since Thursday, February 6 the updated list of Entities and Restricted Sub-Entities Associated with the Cuban Regime, with which the new Donald Trump administration prohibits financial transactions.

Although on June 16, 2017, during his first term, Trump signed National Security Presidential Memorandum 5, on Strengthening United States Policy Toward Cuba, which was made official on November 9 of that year with the publication of a list prohibiting trade with entities of the Cuban dictatorship. Other official bodies of the Cuban regime have been incorporated into the new list.

For example, the company Orbit SA, a sub-entity of the GAESA military to operate remittances to Cuba, has now appeared included, since FINCIMEX was sanctioned in 2017.

At the same time, the Federal Register has warned that, “the Department of State will continue to periodically update the Cuba Restricted List.”

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Department of Commerce has also announced that it will generally deny any request to export or re-export items for use by entities or sub-entities with ties to the illegitimate Cuban government.

Now, Cuba in Miami reproduces the list of sanctioned entities:
