Cuban actor and comedian Jorge Losada reappears on television, but this time it is not on the program “A otro con ese cuento” (A Another One with That Story), but rather in the soap opera “Renacer” (Rebirth).
The Cuban, who was once the oldest active comedian on Cuban television, has played countless characters in different programs and films, but the one for which he is most remembered by the Cuban public was the popular program from the nineties "Pateando la Lata", which is now being produced again by the same director Delso Aquino, but this time from Miami and is called "Pateando la Lata USA".
In a message to his followers in an interview with Cuba Actores, the comedian said: "This experience has been unique, because I am a gossip, and in real life I am not. Now in the soap opera I speak badly of everyone, I don't even know why, and perhaps this will be my last appearance, and I will give that bad image." Apparently this should be his last role on television since he is 90 years old.
Ulises González, another prominent Cuban actor, was the one who interviewed Jorge and told him that this would not be the last of his appearances, to which Losada replied: “Do you believe? You give me hope!” The comments of the Internet users were full of praise for the prominent comedian: “Congratulations to those two greats”, “You are spectacular, blessings and many more years”, “Thank you for that beautiful detail, congratulations for showing a much-loved artist, congratulations to both of you”, were some of the comments.
Undoubtedly an actor who has filled the hearts of thousands of Cubans with joy for his pranks on comedy shows, his excellence as an actor is an example to follow for the new generations of artists left on the island. It is encouraging to know that he is in good health and that despite the years he shows his joy to all his followers.
